On June 27, KCC E&C was selected as the pro ject operator (member company of the consortium) for the
Bongdam~Songsan Highway Private Investment Project, which is a profit-based private investment project supervised by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. This project was first proposed in 2007 and KCC E&C was selected as the project operator through consultations with the competent authority, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The goal of the project is to begin construction within this year and open the highway by 2020. The total length of the construction is 18.15km and it is to include 3 JCTs, 4 ICs, 5 service offices and a rest area.
