KCC E&C won a contract for sea defense construction work for the new dredging sand field (zone 2) at Busan New Port from the Busan Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. KCC E&C formed a consortium with Segy Construction (30%) and Lotte Engineering & Construction (20%), and the proportion of KCC E&C is 50% (KRW 33.15 billion) out of KRW 66.2 billion. The construction site is located at the Songdo Zone 2, the Busan New Port, Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, and construction work will continue for 36 months after commencement (to be completed in February 2020).
