KCC E&C signed a contract with Gachon University Gil Medical Center for an AI Cancer Hospital remodeling project on November 23. The project aims to remodel part of the office building near Gachon Univ. Medical Center in Guwol-dong, Incheon, which consists of 8 basement floors and 18 ground floors, measuring a total floor area of 32,924㎡, into a cancer hospital with 234 sickbeds. The project costs 16.4 billion won. Medical facility projects have a higher entry barrier with strict requirements in terms of proven track record. By winning the contract, KCC E&C paved the way for the medical facility construction market by securing the record of hospital construction and remodeling projects. KCC E&C strives to win more contracts in the hospital construction market, which is growing fast in the wake of strong demand for medical services.
